About Instructor

Prof. Kishor Munshi
Professor Kishor Munshi is a distinguished faculty member at the Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay, with extensive expertise in product design, automobile design, and design management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, and a Post-graduate Diploma in Product Design from IIT Bombay. As a UNESCO Fellow, he has engaged in international research across Germany, France, and Italy. Professor Munshi has served as Head of IDC at IIT Bombay and has been a guest professor at Lulea University of Technology, Sweden. Beyond academia, he has consulted for over 40 industrial organizations, including Crompton Greaves Ltd., L&T Ltd., and Godrej & Boyce Ltd., contributing to successful product design and development initiatives. His work has been recognized with awards such as the ‘Good Design Award’ at the Hanover Engineering Fair in Germany.
